FRACTIONAL PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Product leadership
when you need it
Clear priorities, practical technical decisions, and a team that knows what to build next.
I work with businesses that need experienced product leadership on a part-time or interim basis. I bring a deep engineering background and experience building businesses, leading product organizations, and helping teams deliver through uncertainty.
Fractional leadership means working alongside your team with an agreed scope and cadence. It can provide direction while you grow, support a team through a transition, or help establish the practices a future full-time leader will inherit. My strongest fit is an enterprise software team building its product function, a complex initiative that needs a credible delivery plan, or a product and engineering organization adapting its working practices as it grows.
Let’s discuss your productWhere I can help
Establish product leadership
Connect customer needs to business priorities. Define product direction, make ownership clear, and build a roadmap your team can use to make decisions.
Get delivery back on track
Understand what is slowing work down, expose missing requirements and risks, and bring stakeholders and engineers together around a realistic plan.
Turn customer insight into decisions
Use customer conversations, support patterns, and available data to test assumptions and decide where investment will make the greatest difference.
Develop the team
Coach product managers and owners, improve collaboration with engineering and design, and establish working practices that fit the people doing the work.
How we would work together
We start with the problem you need to solve and what success would look like. I listen to your team and customers, review the current product and delivery process, and identify the decisions that need attention first.
From there, we agree on priorities, responsibilities, and a working cadence. Depending on the need, the work might include customer discovery, a prioritized roadmap, clearer requirements, release planning, or coaching. I stay close to implementation so that strategy reflects technical constraints and customer realities.
Progress should be visible in the work: clearer decisions, risks addressed earlier, and useful improvements reaching customers. We choose measures that fit your business and leave documentation and ownership in place so the team can carry the work forward.
